Lori Seymour
I have been working in the fitness industry for about 10 years. I truly enjoy teaching my clients the benefits of exercise and to help them achieve their fitness goals, it is very rewarding to see the change exercise makes in their bodies and their overall well-being.
My approach to training is based on the Pilates principles of strengthening the core in order to help you achieve a better sense of body awareness to help you maintain correct body alignment. I move at pace in order to break down the exercises in a way that will help you increase your body awareness and help you perform the exercises correctly in order to get the most benefit from them. I believe that proper alignment and core engagement is extremely important in exercise and in everyday functional activities, it helps support the spine and helps prevent injury during any activity. During my Spin, Barre, and TBC classes I prefer to teach a more high-intensity level workout, getting the heart rate up and working at a faster pace while still focusing on proper form and alignment.
I work with all Fitness levels and enjoy helping people build a workout for their specific needs since not all bodies and not everyone’s goals are the same.
