“I came to this work of fascia as someone who had played at the Division 1 level in field hockey and lacrosse. Eventually, my knees would give way and invite me to find a way to regain mobility, yoga was the first part of the answer. Still, I would need to undergo orthoscopic surgery that would tip my body into compensation to a point where I felt like a piece of pain-filled concrete. This allowed me to find fascia through a yoga teacher who was teaching through fascia. I secured my license to practice massage therapy and this allowed me to then partake in seminars and treatment of my myofascial complex. It allowed me to regain a pain-free lifestyle, and now, I am starting to learn how to play tennis, something I would previously not allowed myself to hope for. I wish the improved quality of living and movement for you, my friends.”
